Reducing risks and losses
Installation and maintenance requirements can limit the applications of conventional tracking systems and increase costs. Tracking is still needed when the electrical system cannot be modified, a vehicle has no power or equipment remains in storage for a long time.
Our goal is to reduce the information gap in these situations and help businesses identify risks and take action.
An additional layer of control for existing systems
We designed TelemaTek as an independent control layer that complements existing vehicle tracking systems. Running on its own power and mobile connection, the device provides an additional source of asset location and usage data.
A flat or removed vehicle battery does not cut off power to the device. Its placement is not tied to a standard power connection point, so it can be installed in a suitable, less noticeable location.
This second layer helps businesses monitor assets they have delivered and identify situations that need investigation. Location and event information is updated during the device's configured communication sessions.
Adaptable to different assets
We developed our solution to manage different vehicles and equipment using the same tracking approach. Installation, power management and operating settings are designed around this goal.
Installation without an electrical connection
No power cable or connection to the asset's electrical system is required. The device is secured in a suitable location and activated. This makes installation easier to plan across different makes and models.
The device can be placed discreetly. There is also no power cable that could be followed to locate it.
Long-term autonomous operation
We combine carefully selected electronic components for low power consumption and stable operation with our own embedded software and power management algorithms. Together with the chemistry of CR123 lithium batteries, which supports operation below freezing, these features form the basis of long-term autonomous use.
Three positioning methods
GNSS satellite positioning, Wi-Fi/LBS and GSM/LBS complement each other under different conditions. If one method is unavailable, another may provide location information. Accuracy depends on the method used and signal reception conditions.
Dual SIM
Two SIM slots provide flexibility to combine connection options as needed. Choose different operators according to coverage, or use one card domestically and another for international roaming. Coverage and tariffs can be planned for the usage scenario, with domestic and international communication costs kept separate.
We develop hardware and software together
We develop the tracking device, embedded software and TelemaTek Panel as one coordinated system. We design the entire process together, from collecting field data to processing it and presenting it to the user.
TelemaTek Panel provides centralised management of large numbers of devices and different asset groups. All our software products support APIs and can integrate with other systems.
